Dr. Nut is all grown up!

Team Nuts is now a fully independent 501(c)3 and we’re growing now beyond our humble grassroots into a fully realized, Dallas-based nonprofit.

But don’t worry, the fun and passion that brought us this far is here to stay and we’re going to stay unerringly focused on our original mission of male cancer awareness in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Wait a minute, did we mention it’s been nine years since we first donned the tie-dye?

Can you believe next year will make it one decade since three testicular cancer survivors gathered together and – driven by founder Mike Wyatt’s unlimited energy and enthusiasm – ran their first marathon to benefit men’s cancer? (Click here to see December 12, 2008 editorial)

Nine years—and we owe it all to you.

We need you to sign up to run the Dallas White Rock Marathon – the five-person relay, the half marathon, or even the full marathon. We need you to talk to people about Team Nuts and about male cancers. We need you to donate to our tax-deductible organization. We need you to don the famous Team Nuts tie-dye and get out there and make a difference. Last year we had over a 150 runners helping us make a statement! Lets up the participation this year!

Make a Difference – Go Nuts!

You are making a difference! Your donations go to support our combined efforts with Dallas Methodist Hospital in raising male cancer awareness, especially their mobile screening unit that provides free screening in underprivileged neighborhoods.

Hurry! The White Rock Marathon is slated for December 14 and the half marathon is going to sell out fast!

Now is the best time in the world to get involved with Team Nuts. Next year, for our big 10th birthday, we’re looking at establishing our own fundraising walk to benefit Dallas Methodist Hospital and its male cancer-screening program.
